Saturday July 18 we will remember Dana by joining together and spending the entire day with something that was Precious to her: the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
We are working out the details still to see if we can provide a way to watch for everyone. Many of us have the films on hand already and all three theatrical releases are on HBO GO but we want everyone to be able to watch, so stay tuned.
We will also have an open chat room AND in the spirit of Watching With Dana, call-and-answer style heckling is encouraged!
The plan is to begin at 10am. We will open the chat room a little before that so that everyone can assemble. This is of course a come and go as you please event, so don't feel like you can't attend if you're only available part of the day.
There will be intermissions between movies. During the intermission we might offer some fun fundraising activities involving Star Trek, so be on the lookout for that.
Please feel free to invite anyone to the event. We wish we could host this movie marathon in person and see and hug you all and miss Dana together.
