Schools Out Rock Out

SCHOOLS OUT ROCK OUT is a new, culturally specific rock n roll after school program. Our pilot program took place in winter 2024 as a SUN program for students of Boise-Eliot Elementary in North Portland, in collaboration with Self Enhancement, Inc.

All instructors and staff are local Black artists who are passionate about our mission!

Instruments provided by Friends of Noise.

Funded in part by grants from Regional Arts and Culture Council and the Roy and Diane Marvin Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation.

We rock mics not stereotypes!
